Thanks to JProphet, we have a proposed route for a swordless speed run, which KingHippo423 has used to get times in the neighborhood of 1:30, and could be pushed sub-hour.
- 30, 10, 100 secrets in the northeast quadrant
- Blue Candle from shop east of 5
- Bombs from shop west of 2
- 100 secret south of bombs
- South coast heart
- Arrows, meat from stores east of 4
- 100 secret south of 7
- Level 3: Raft, Triforce
- Level 4: Ladder
- 30 secret south of 1
- Level 1: Bow, Triforce
- Level 2: Triforce
- Heart north of 2
- Level 5: Recorder, Bombs, Triforce
- Level 6: Wand, Triforce
- Level 7: Triforce
- Level 4: Triforce
- Level 8: Triforce
- Level 9: Silver Arrows, Gannon.
Optionally one could make the route easier by doing 7 before 6, and buying the bombs in 7.
